change overflow behavior to something less bad?
Currently, if (most?) views cannot draw their entire content in the space provided, they'll panic and the whole program will crash. Obviously, this isn't great. Unfortunately, the right (or rather, least bad) way to handle this situation is unclear. I do have some ideas, though:
- Don't change this behavior
- Make all (or least
linear
?) containers able to scroll their contents - Have individual views decide how to handle this case (e.g.
text
could truncate itself and add some sort of indication it was truncated)
